Alfonso Cuaron’s raw directing style adds unforgettable realism to the already dystopian plot.

Both Firefly (series) and Serenity (movie) were up to Joss Whedon’s usual calibre; supremely entertaining.

Valhalla Rising is slow and plodding, but raw and tense at the same time. Very experimental.

Simple premise, brilliant execution. One man becomes the witness, victim and villain of the same crime.

This one will forever be in my list of classics. Terry Gilliam’s genius in full swing.

Michel Gondry + Charlie Kaufman + Jim Carrey + Kate Winslet = movie magic.
